Maximum altitude: Bhagirathi II Peak (6512 meters)
Accommodation: Overnight stay in camping tents
Due to the unpredictable conditions at high altitude, all expeditions require constant readjustment of plans.
The Mt. Bhagirathi II expedition involves a planned progression through four camps, each situated at strategic points along the route, ultimately leading to the summit at 6,512 meters.
On Day 6, we undertake the task of ferrying our supplies to Camp 1.
On Day 7, we shift to Camp 1, followed by a load ferry to Camp 2 on Day 8.
Day 9 is dedicated to rope fixing and opening the route, with a shift to Camp 2 in preparation for the summit attempt.
Day 10 marks the thrilling midnight push for the summit, aiming to climb the remarkable height of 6,512 meters.
Day 11 is a reserve day for the summit. This additional day serves as a contingency plan, allowing us flexibility in case of unforeseen circumstances such as adverse weather conditions or the need for additional acclimatization.
Day 12 is dedicated to descending back to the Base Camp, where on Day 13, we dry and pack our equipment before concluding this remarkable expedition.
Throughout this journey, we adapt to the ever-changing conditions, ensuring the safety and success of our team.
