  • Altitude: The pass stands tall at an elevation of approximately 5,300 meters (17,700 feet).
  • Route: It spans through the remote valleys of Kinnaur (Lower & Upper Baspa) and Garhwal.
  • Highlights:
    • Transition from one state to another, beginning in Uttarakhand and culminating in Himachal Pradesh.
    • Rugged terrain, including moraines, sharp ascents, glaciers, and boulders.
    • Baspa Glacier (source of Baspa River) and the formidable Lamkhaga Pass.
    • Concludes in Chitkul, the last village of Himachal Pradesh.
